A Connection Born in Lomanthang

The origin of CCI is personal. During our founder's visit to Lomanthang in Upper Mustang, he built a genuine connection with the Lobba community, their way of life, and the Himalayan goats that produce this rare fiber.

Lomanthang cashmere is known for its fine fiber - typically 14 to 19 microns - which gives it outstanding softness, warmth, and durability. In Mustang, cashmere weaving is also a living tradition passed from one generation to the next. CCI was created to share this exceptional fiber globally while giving meaningful value back to the community that produces it.

Our process starts in Lomanthang, where goats graze freely in the high-altitude pastures of Mustang. Fiber is collected through traditional, non-harmful methods that respect animal welfare and local ecosystems. Skilled artisans then hand-spin the yarn using techniques preserved over generations.
