Overview Fine-grained moss stitch alternates with pointelle eyelets, setting a matte, textured ground against delicate openwork. Knitted at 12 gauge in wool and cashmere, it is soft to the touch with enough body to show the pattern clearly.
The structure Moss stitch swaps knit and purl from stitch to stitch and from row to row, which produces an even, grainy surface. Pointelle eyelets are worked into that ground, so the fabric moves between solid texture and open pattern.
Feel and performance Matte and softly textured, with a little air from the eyelets. It lies flat and keeps its shape well.
